Sonia Minards - Organisational Dynamics Consultant & Counsellor

My corporate background alongside my psychological and behavioural science expertise informs my work with organisations and Leaders at times of change and challenge to enable deeper connection and collaboration.

I’m passionate about supporting individuals, teams, and organisations to realise their potential, build resilience, and learn more about what maybe holding them back. I became more and more committed to this purpose as I rose through the corporate leadership ranks. I saw first hand both the benefits and pressures that high performing professionals experience and the impact these can have on their personal lives, as well as of the multiple challenges faced by companies negotiating growth and change, or seeking to optimise. I specialise in helping to bring clarity and insight to these situations and helping individuals or companies move forward in the best possible way.

Before qualifying as a counsellor I spent 20+ years building a successful career as a CFO, working at Board level in fast paced, intense, and highly stimulating environments. During my career in high performing organisations (including Deutsche Bank, PA Consulting and JP Morgan), I have accumulated extensive experience of working with senior leaders, including C-suite executives. I understand what it takes to make teams function optimally, and the variety of different issues that can jeopardise this.

I bring a unique combination of psychological expertise from my work as an experienced therapist and team dynamics consultant. As well as the rigour and outcome focus from my corporate background.

How I work

Each engagement is bespoke working with the unique needs of your Leaders, Teams, & Organisation. Underpinning this is a core 3 step process to support individual & team transformation:

  1. DISCOVER: understanding the Challenge:  here I clarify your goals and needs, and carrying out a diagnostic mapping of the individual or team psychological landscape. Enabling abetter understand the needs of your leaders and teams, and the lived culture through the behaviours, beliefs, communication dynamics.

  2. LEARN: from Conflict to Collaboration: I design and facilitate bespoke programmes to meet the needs of your organisation and its people. Drawing on models and tools from: systemic coaching, transpersonal psychology, and relational dynamics techniques. The ultimate goal is to enhance leader and team performance, align purpose, and support organisational wellbeing.

  3. IMPLEMENT: embedding Change: Embedding personal and organisational change can take time and have bumps along the road. I’m here to support you and your people through the change journey.

We will work together to understand the unique issues  your organisation, people, and leadership teams may be facing, where I will bring challenge and unique mapping and relational dynamics techniques the information you provide to develop key insights, and support you and your teams to transform behavioural responses to support the desired organisational culture.
